Today, I want to talk about enzymes and just how important they are to our health.
What are enzymes and why do we need them?
Enzymes:
* help repair our DNA
* help digest our food
* help us to absorb the nutrients within food
* repair and prevent wrinkles
* help even out our skin tone
* contribute to smooth and youthful skin
* free up more metabolic energy, which helps speed up weight loss and detoxification
We need as many enzymes as possible to support these processes. Our bodies have an ample amount already, but much of their use goes towards the vital functions of our systems first, like digestion and blood rebuilding, before they get to work on repairing the way we look. Not to mention, our enzyme supply decreases over time causing aging and slowing of the metabolism.
If we had a larger supply of enzymes in our bodies, the enzymes would be able to help with both the major processes as well as those that effect the way we look, such as dry and brittle hair, and wrinkles around the eyes.
The best way to increase your enzyme intake is to increase your consumption of raw greens and vegetables, full of live enzymes that will help you digest your food, leaving more enzymes for beautifying your skin and hair.
